20. Connect the four-pin air bag sliding contact electrical connector at the base of the steering column.
21. Install the lower steering column opening cover with reinforcement.

Position the lower steering column opening cover with reinforcement to the instrument panel and push in at the top seating the retaining clips.

Install the retaining bolts.
22. Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Battery.
23. Prove out the air bag system. For additional information, refer to Air Bag Systems.
