Taurus V6-3.0L DOHC VIN S (2000)
1. Remove the clamps.
2. Separate the front wheel driveshaft joint boot from the inboard CV joint housing.
3. Check the CV joint grease for contamination by rubbing it between two fingers. Any gritty feeling indicates contamination.
4. Separate the CV joint from the CV joint housing.
