Remove the coolant by-pass hose from the lower intake manifold fitting. Refer to Figure 11.

Disconnect the heater supply hose from the coolant by-pass tee. See Figure 11.
33.
Remove and discard the coolant by-pass hose assembly.
34.
Remove the two (2) heater hoses from the heater core. See Figure 12.
35.
Remove the two (2) heater hose and tube assembly retaining nuts at the dash panel.
36.
Remove and discard the heater hose and tube assembly.
