Remove the cowl top inner panel drain tube. See Figure 7.

Remove the coolant recovery hose from fitting shown in Figure 8 and discard the clamp.

NOTE:
If the heater hose and tube assembly was previously installed, visually verify the presence of a restrictor in the coolant recovery fitting.

If the restrictor is present, the restrictor supplied in the kit is not required; proceed to Step 30.
