Remove the drive belt. Refer to Figure 2.

Remove the idler pulley. Refer to Figure 2.

Remove the drive belt tensioner. See Figure 2.
9.
Remove the water pump pulley.
10.
Remove the alternator brace lower retainer, then loosen the upper retainer. Swing the brace up and away from the water pump. See Figure 3.
