CALIBRATION: 
6-10C-R06, 6-10C-R10, 6-10G-R05, 6-10G-R10, 7-10C-R06, 7-10G-R06

THIS MODIFICATION IS AUTHORIZED ONLY FOR THE LISTED ENGINE. PERFORMING THIS MODIFICATION ON OTHER ENGINE
CALIBRATIONS IS UNAUTHORIZED AND COULD CREATE LIABILITY UNDER APPLICABLE FEDERAL OR LOCAL LAWS.

ISSUE: 
The Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) may illuminate with Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) P0176, P0411, and P0446 being stored in continuous
memory on some vehicles. DTC P0176 may be set on vehicles using 100% unleaded gasoline causing the flex fuel sensor to read below the current 
Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Hz setting of 47.5 Hz. DTC P0411 may occur when the secondary air injection monitor is looking for the front
Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) to go lean after the air pump is turned on. DTC P0446 may occur when the PCM sees an out-of-range condition on the
Fuel Tank Pressure Transducer (FTPT). A no start/hard start, possible long crank condition and/or stall on engagement on cold start-up at temperatures
below 10°C (50°F) may be evident on some vehicles. This condition may be caused by a rich fuel condition PCM calibration.

ACTION: 
Replace or reprogram the PCM. Refer to the following Service Procedure for details.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1.

Verify the concern. Perform normal diagnostic routines and service as required.

2.

If no other concerns are found, or the concern still exists after service has been performed, check decal to verify vehicle does not have the latest
calibration. If it does not, replace or reprogram the PCM using the New Generation Star (NGS) Tester or Service Bay Diagnostic System (SBDS)
with the latest calibration CD-ROM. Refer to the following Application Chart for calibrations.
