Removal
NOTE: Make sure the window glass is in the full up position.
1. Remove the front door trim panel.
2. Remove the watershield and position aside.
3. NOTE: On the left front door, use a T-5 torx socket installed on the bolt tip to retain the exterior door handle cap stud.
Remove the nut and the exterior door handle cap.
4. NOTE: Turn the exterior door handle cap bolt clockwise to loosen.
On the right front door, use a T-5 torx socket installed on the bolt tip to loosen the exterior door handle cap bolt until the exterior door handle cap
can be removed.
5. NOTE: Pull the exterior front door handle outward and to the rear to release it from the front door handle reinforcement.
Remove the exterior front door handle.
6. If required, remove the exterior door handle gasket.
Installation
1. If required, install the exterior door handle gasket.
2. Insert the exterior door handle into the reinforcement, push forward and snap in place.
3. On the right front door, install the exterior door handle cap.

Release the exterior door handle cap from the bezel.

Install the bezel and the exterior door handle bolt.

Tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).

Install the exterior door handle cap on the bezel.
4. On the left front door, install the exterior door handle cap.

Position the exterior door handle cap.

Install the exterior door handle nut.
-
Tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
5. Install the watershield.
6. Install the front door trim panel.
