1. Remove the rear bumper cover.
Wagon
2. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
All vehicles
3. Disconnect the parking aid sensor electrical connector.
4. NOTE: Press the retaining tabs to release the sensor(s).
Remove the parking aid sensor(s).
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Paint the sensor(s) with one coat of paint (base coat and clear coat).

Using the scan tool, verify that the parking aid sensor PIDs read no object present, and that the parking aid sensor attenuation PIDs read
between 0.8-1.6 ms. If the parking aid sensor attenuation PIDs do not read between 0.8-1.6 ms, the paint is too thick on the sensor(s) and it
will be necessary to repaint the sensor(s) as required.
