6. Remove the liftgate lower trim panel.

Pull outward on the liftgate lower trim panel outward to release the retaining clips.
7. NOTICE: To avoid damage to the liftgate trim panel, remove any retaining clips from the liftgate and attach them to the liftgate trim
panel before installing.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
