Reactivation

All vehicles

1. Remove the RCM fuse 32 (10A) from the SJB.

2. Disconnect the battery ground cable and wait at least one minute.

Taurus and Sable safety canopy modules

3. Connect the passenger side safety canopy module electrical connector.

4. Connect the driver side safety canopy module electrical connector.

5. Install the C-pillar trim panels.

Verify the safety belt retractor operates without excessive effort or binding.

Taurus X safety canopy modules

6. NOTE: Headliner removed for clarity.

Connect the passenger side safety canopy module electrical connector.

7. Install the passenger side D-pillar trim panel.

Verify the safety belt retractor operates without excessive effort or binding.

8. NOTE: Headliner removed for clarity.

Connect the driver side safety canopy module electrical connector.
