Separate the connectors and inspect them for grayish-colored corrosion, Figures 11, 12, and 13.

Remove the corroded wires from the connectors and butt-splice them together using the "duraseal" butt-splice connectors (E6FZ-14488-A). Refer
to TSB 86-3-11 for installation instructions of the butt-splice connectors.
5.
Make sure that ground circuit #57 is properly secured.
6.
Reconnect the battery ground cable and make sure the condition has been corrected.
