FPSD Service Engineering has determined that it is not necessary to remove the fan and shroud assembly to remove and replace the power steering lines
on subject vehicles.
When using the procedure outlined in the Shop Manual, Section 13-55, omit the steps pertaining to the fan and shroud removal. As a matter of safety,
however, disconnect the ground cable (negative) from the battery prior to Step 1.
