Open hood.

2.

Remove hood latch assembly (2) bolts, remove hood latch cable retainer (1) attaching screw. Disengage cable and remove hood latch assembly.

3.

Thread terminal end of cable into hood latch assembly return spring (Figure 4).

Rotate cable through latch "V" slot, position cable retainer to latch and install (1) screw to retain.

5.

Position hood latch assembly and install (2) attaching bolts. Adjust latch assembly and torque attaching bolts.

6.

Close hood and verify correct latch adjustment.
