If the drive belt is contacting the corner of the alternator bracket adjacent to the pivot bolt as shown in Figure 14, remove the drive belt and rework the
corner of the bracket by filing or grinding the surface as shown in Figure 15.
Clearance between the belt and the bracket should be .12 inch minimum.
