REMOVAL 

NOTE:  If caliper does not require servicing, do not disconnect brake hose or remove caliper from vehicle. Position caliper aside with wire to avoid
damaging caliper and hose.

1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheel and tire assembly.
2. Remove rotor from hub by pulling off hub studs. If additional force is necessary, proceed as follows:

a. Apply suitable rust penetrant and inhibitor on front of rotor and hub mating surfaces.
b. Attach three-jaw puller tool No. D80C-1013-A, or equivalent, and remove rotor.

NOTE:  If excessive force must be used to remove the rotor, then it should be inspected for lateral runout before installation.

INSTALLATION 

1. If replacing rotor, remove protective coating on new rotor with suitable brake parts cleaner.
2. If using original rotor, ensure braking and mounting surfaces are clean. Remove rust if necessary.
3. Install rotor on hub assembly, then the caliper.
4. Install wheel and tire assembly. Tighten wheel lug nuts to 85-105 ft lb. 
5. Pump brake pedal to position brake linings prior to moving vehicle, then road test vehicle.
