MANUAL LAP BELTS-FRONT SEATS
Pull the lap belt out of the retractor with a steady motion, route the lap belt forward of the shoulder belt, and insert the tongue into the buckle until you
hear a snap and feel the latch engage.
If driver's lap belt is fastened when the ignition key is turned to ON, the safety belt indicator lamp in instrument cluster will not illuminate.
NOTE: If driver's lap belt is not fastened when the ignition key is turned to ON, the safety belt indicator lamp in instrument cluster will illuminate
steadily for approximately 60 seconds as a reminder to fasten the lap belt. If the lap belt is fastened while the indicator lamp is illuminated, the
indicator lamp will be extinguished immediately.
