8. If clearance is not within specifications, install correct replacement snap ring and recheck clearance. Snap rings are available in inch thicknesses of
0.050-0.054, 0.064-0.068, 0.078- 0.082, and 0.092-0.096.
9. Check clutch for proper operation using air pressure. The clutch should be heard and felt to apply smoothly and without leakage.
