Wheel Speed Sensor
DESCRIPTION
The ABS uses four variable-reluctance brake ABS sensors to determine the rotational speed of each wheel. The sensors operate on magnetic
induction principle. As the teeth on the brake ABS sensor rotate past the brake ABS sensor indicator, a signal proportional to the speed of the
rotation is generated and sent to the ABS control module through a twisted pair wiring harness.

The front brake ABS sensors are attached to the front wheel spindles.

The front brake ABS sensor indicators are pressed onto the wheel hub assemblies.

The front brake ABS sensors are not adjustable.
REAR

The rear brake ABS sensors are attached to the rear axle housing.

The rear brake ABS sensor indicators are pressed onto the inner CV joints.

The rear brake ABS sensors are not adjustable.
