Thunderbird V8-4.6L VIN W (1997)
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove instrument panel.
3. Remove heater air plenum chamber.
4. Remove two nuts retaining the vacuum control motor to the mounting bracket.
5. Rotate the vacuum control motor from the mounting bracket to disengage arm from door shaft and disconnect the vacuum hose.
Installation
1. Rotate the vacuum control motor to engage arm to door shaft and position the motor on the mounting bracket.
2. Install two nuts to attach the windshield defroster door vacuum control motor to the mounting bracket.
3. Connect vacuum hose to windshield defroster door vacuum control motor.
4. Install heater air plenum chamber.
5. Install instrument panel.
6. Connect battery ground cable.
