Blower Motor Switch: Description and Operation
If the heater blower motor switch is positioned in AUTO, the system automatically chooses an appropriate fan speed to maintain the desired set
temperature.

During cool/cold weather, if PANEL or FLOOR is selected, the blower motor will stay off (when in AUTO) until the engine is warm enough to
provide heat.

The fan speed can be changed to a fixed setting by rotating the heater blower motor switch to the desired position.
