Shift Cable: Adjustments
NOTE: The transmission range linkage adjustments should be performed in the order in which they appear.
1. Position the transmission range selector lever in the DRIVE position.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Loosen the transmission shift cable and the bracket-to-cable retaining nut.
4. Move the transmission manual control lever to the DRIVE position (third detent position from the full clockwise position).
5. With the gearshift lever and the manual control lever in the DRIVE position, tighten the retaining nut to 13-25 Nm (10-18 ft. lbs.).
6. Check the operation of the transmission in each transmission range.
