Plate – Rear Brake Carrier – Remove and install (12 313 0)

Removal and Installation

Remove

1. Remove the rear brake shoe assemblies as described in Operation No. 12 285 0.

2. Remove the wheel cylinder as described in Operation No. 12 305 0.

3. Disconnect the handbrake cable from the carrier plate.

4. Remove the carrier plate.

Install

5. Ensure carrier plate and oil baffle mating faces are clean and free of old sealant.

6. Coat the mating faces of the carrier plate and oil baffle with suitable sealant.

7. Refit the carrier plate.

8. Reconnect the handbrake cable to the carrier plate.

9. Refit the wheel cylinder as described in Operation No. 12 305 0.

10. Refit the rear brake shoe assemblies as described in Operation No. 12 285 0.
