Drive Belt - Alternator (Petrol) - Remove And Install (31 413 0)

Removal and Installation

Remove

CAUTION:

Disconnect the battery negative lead.

1. Remove the alternator drive belt.

1. Slacken the tensioner.

2. Remove the drive belt and release the tensioner.

Install

Vehicles without power steering, air conditioning and two alternators

2. Fit a new drive belt.

Vehicles fittted with power steering

3. Fit a new drive belt.

Vehicles fitted with power steering and air conditioning

4. Fit a new drive belt.

Vehicles fitted with two alternators

5. Fit a new drive belt.

All vehicles

6. Reconnect the battery negative lead.
