Removal and Installation
Remove
Bulb – Instrument Cluster - Remove (33 228 4)
1. Remove the bulbs.
   Twist the bulb/holder anticlockwise to remove.
Glass – Instrument Cluster - Remove (33 226 4)
2. Prise off the glass/bezel.
   Note positions of five retaining lugs.

3. Remove the legend diffusers.
   Note diffuser positions for refitting.
Head – Speedometer - Remove (33 254 4)
4. Remove three screws and remove the speedometer head.
Tachometer – Remove (33 264 4)
5. Remove one screw and remove the tachometer.
Gauge – Fuel - Remove (33 284 4)
6. Remove one screw and remove the fuel gauge.
Gauge – Temperature - Remove (33 304 4)
7. Remove one screw and remove the temperature gauge.

8. Push/pull out all the pin contacts.

9. Remove two printed circuit multiplug retainers.
   Use a small flat‐nosed punch to push in the pins to release the multiplug retainers.

CAUTION:

Take care not to bend or damage the printed circuit and its electrical components when lifting it off the locating dowels.
10. Remove the printed circuit (electronic instrument cluster shown).
Install
11. Refit the components in the reverse order.
Gauge – Temperature – Install (33 304 4)
Gauge – Fuel - Install (33 284 4)
Tachometer – Install (33 264 4)
Head – Speedometer - Install(33 254 4)
Glass – Instrument Cluster - Install(33 226 4)
Bulb - Instrument Cluster – Install (33 228 4)
