Description and Operation
The air throughput of the heating and ventilation system has been greatly improved. The improvement is due to modifications to the following components:
  • Heater radiator
  • Blower motor
  • Ventilation and demister nozzles
The crash pad/fascia has two outer and two centre vent nozzles and two demister nozzles for the side windows. The nozzles are supplied via new air hoses on the inside of the crash pad/fascia.
The heater control elements are also new. They are designed as rotary switches and are illuminated.
A recirculated air setting may be installed, depending on the model variant. Turning the blower switch to the right gives fresh air, turning to the left gives recirculated air. Note that the windows can steam up quicker in recirculated air mode. Therefore, switch to fresh air in good time.
