Removal and Installation
Remove

CAUTION:

Note the position of spacers and paper washers. Make sure these are correctly positioned for installation.

CAUTION:

Use pretensioner disarming pin to disarm the seat belt pretensioner mechanism, to prevent accidental triggering of the mechanism during repair operations.

1. Disarm the seat belt pretensioner mechanism, if fitted.
2. Tip the seat forwards.

3. Remove the seat belt pretensioner.
   Remove the Torx retaining screw.
4. Remove the B‐pillar trim (refer to Operation No. 43 617 0).

5. Detach the lower seat belt anchor.
   Remove the Torx retaining screw from the rear of the footwell.

6. Detach the B‐pillar upper seat belt anchor bolt.
1. Remove the upper anchor cover.
2. Remove the Torx retaining screw.

7. Remove the seat belt assembly.
   Remove the Torx retaining screw.
Install

CAUTION:

Reconnect the pretensioner cable before removing the disarm clip.

CAUTION:

When installing seat belts make sure the webbing is correctly routed and not twisted. Make sure the seat belt operates correctly without restriction.

8. Refit the components in reverse order.
