Removal and Installation
Remove
1. Disconnect the battery earth lead.
2. Remove the tailgate trim panel (refer to Operation No. 43 744 0).

3. Disconnect the lock and barrel actuating rods.
   Open the plastic clips and pull out the rods.
4. Disconnect the central locking multiplugs (where fitted).

5. Remove the lock assembly.
   Three screws.

6. Remove the central locking motor (where fitted).
• Two screws.
• Twist to Disconnect the operating rod.
Install
7. Refit the components in reverse order.
