Brake Caliper: Service and Repair
Brake Caliper Bracket
REMOVAL
1. Remove the rear disc brake caliper and the rear disc brake rotor.
2. Remove the hub grease cap.
3. Remove and discard the cotter pin from the rear wheel spindle.
4. Remove the rear hub nut retainer and the rear hub nut and washer.
5. Carefully remove the rear hub, inner and outer bearing and seal as an assembly, using care not to damage the rear hub grease seal.
Rear Disc Brake Adapter
6. From the inboard side of the rear wheel disc brake adapter, remove the rear brake antilock sensor bolt.
7. Pull the rear brake antilock sensor out of the rear wheel disc brake adapter.
8. Remove the parking brake rear cable and conduit from the parking brake cable bracket and the parking brake lever at the top of the rear wheel disc
