Cut the Heater Hose (F5AZ-18472-A) to the proper dimensions as shown in Figure 1. This will allow enough clearance between the evaporator
drain tube end and A/C lines to install the extension hose on the end of the drain tube.
CAUTION:
THE EDGES OF THE UNDERBODY HEAT SHIELD ARE SHARP. USE CAUTION WHEN INSTALLING THE EXTENSION TUBE.

Install the drain tube extension hose onto the end of the evaporator drain tube and route the extension hose downward with the A/C lines on the
outside of the 90 degree bend.

Install a worm gear heater hose clamp onto the extension hose and position the clamp so it will clamp the hose onto the end of the drain tube.
Using a pry bar, press the end of the bar against the clamp and force the clamp against the instrument panel while tightening the clamp. This will
ensure the clamp is positioned as far back as possible onto the end of the drain tube.
7.
On 3.8L vehicles, reinstall the coil pack.
