ISSUE:
A "whistling" noise may be heard from the front A/C plenum with the blower ON and in Fresh Air Mode only (refer to Figure 1). This may be caused by
air flow through the overlap gaps of the recirculation door to the plenum case.
ACTION:
Lightly heat the plenum case using a forced air heat gun at the whistle noise source area and deform the case to provide a tighter seal. This should reduce
the possibility of a whistle noise. Refer to the Service Procedure for details.
