Referring to Figure 3, visually inspect the hose that runs from the fuel vapor return tee to the carbon canister for kinks or restrictions in the line.
Remove the hose and fitting that attaches the hose to the carbon canister. Check the hose for restrictions. Also, check the fitting for restrictions by
blowing through the fitting to make sure it is not plugged. Visually inspect the fuel vapor tee to make sure vapor can pass unobstructed. If there are
restrictions, replace the appropriate part.

Visually inspect the carbon canister for plugging in the hole in the canister where the fitting was removed. An indication of this would be dirt
spilling out of the hole or a heavily soiled filter inside the hole. Replace the canister if it is plugged.
