INOPERATIVE - FUSE 39 OPEN - VEHICLES NOT
EQUIPPED WITH LOAD LEVELING AIR SUSPENSION

LIGHT TRUCK:
1995-97 WINDSTAR

ISSUE:
The rear auxiliary blower motor may become inoperative. This may be caused by the motor drawing a high amperage load during initial start-up in cold
weather resulting in Fuse 39 opening.

ACTION:
Replace Fuse 39 with a shunt. The shunt should reduce the possibility of an amperage surge on initial start-up and reduce the possibility of an inoperative
blower motor. Refer to the following Service Procedure for details.
