CHILD SEAT - WEBBING TWISTS OR BINDS ON
INTEGRATED CHILD SAFETY SEAT (ICS) BELT

LIGHT TRUCK:
1995-98 WINDSTAR

ISSUE
The belt webbing may twist or bind on the Integrated Child Safety Seat (ICS) on some vehicles. This may occur if the "Y" which connects the shoulder
belts to the retractor belt, on retractors made prior to June 1998, contacts the seat frame or seat trim padding.

ACTION
Replace the retractor with a revised retractor. The "Y" has been moved and a second button has been added to reduce the possibility of interference.
Refer to the following Service Procedure for details.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

NOTE

IT IS EASIER TO REMOVE THE SEAT FROM THE VEHICLE TO PERFORM THIS SERVICE FIX.
