INDUCE A TENDENCY TO PULL LEFT TO COMPENSATE FOR THE CROWN FOUND ON THE MAJORITY OF ROADS (RIGHT
SLANT). AN OWNER WHO DRIVES MOSTLY IN THE LH LANE OF A MULTI-LANE HIGHWAY MAY FIND THE VEHICLE DRIFTING
LEFT. THEREFORE, IT MAY BE NECESSARY TO ADJUST CASTER SPLIT TO COMPENSATE FOR DRIVER HABITS.
Alignment Definitions:
Camber Angle - angle between the imaginary true vertical line of the spindle and the wheel centerline. The vehicle will naturally drift to the side with the
greater, or more positive camber angle. If the camber angles were -0.25° left side and +0.25° right side, the vehicle would drift right. Refer to Figure 2.

Caster Angle - angle between the imaginary true centerline of the spindle and the true centerline of the struts. The vehicle will naturally drift to the
side with the lesser caster angle. If the caster angle were 40 left and 30 right, the vehicle would drift right. Refer to Figure 5.
