Windstar V6-232 3.8L (1995)
To correct a drift/pull to the left condition, refer to the "A Left Drift Or Pull On 1995-96 Windstar" Chart.
It may help to offset the clear vision position of the steering wheel to the right, up to 30 clockwise of center.
6.
After adjusting the alignment, re-evaluate the vehicle using the procedure found in "Customer Road Test" within this article.
7.
It the drift or pull condition continues and all concerns found in Diagnostic Procedure # 1 have been corrected, you should swap the tires and
wheels from a similar Windstar that DOES NOT exhibit drift or pull. It this corrects the condition, replace the tires.
If the drift or pull condition cannot be resolved following these steps, then it is possible that the vehicle body structure is misaligned, and the vehicle
should be evaluated by a qualified body shop.
