Power Steering Line/Hose: Description and Operation

The power steering hoses use o-ring seal at the quick connect fittings. There are two possible leak points at the steering gear fittings:

between the power steering pressure hose or power steering return hose and the hose nut.

between the hose nut and the aluminum power rack and pinion steering gear or power steering pressure return and pump outlet line connector.
