Spindle: Service and Repair
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
1. Remove hub.
2. Remove coil spring.
3. Remove four nuts holding spindle and backing plate to trailing arm.
4. Disconnect emergency brake cable from routing clip, then using care not to damage brake fluid flex hose remove backing plate and spindle
assembly and support on axle.

5. Using a hammer, drive out and discard four studs holding backing plate to spindle, then separate spindle from backing plate.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
