Wheel Bearing: Service and Repair

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
1. Remove hub assembly.
2. Use a suitable seal remover to pry seal from hub, then remove inner wheel bearing cone from hub.
3. Use a suitable solvent to clean bearing cones and cups, inspect components, replace damaged parts.
4. Remove bearing cups from hub using remover/puller tool Nos. T81P-1104-C and T77F-1102-A or equivalents.
5. If hub is to be replaced remove anti-lock brake sensor wheel.
6. Thoroughly clean hub, then use installer tool Nos. T80T-1000-W and T73T-1202-A or equivalents to press new bearing cups into hub.
7. Using a suitable bearing packer, pack bearing cones with grease.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
