Power Window Switch: Description and Operation
The window regulator control switch:

Controls the actuation of the front door window regulator.

Will cause the front door window glass to move upward when the raised portion of the window regulator control switch is depressed.

Will cause the front door window glass to move downward when the depressed portion of the window regulator control switch is depressed.
The window regulator control switches control the actuation of the window regulator electric drives.

Pressing on the raised portion of the window regulator control switch causes the front door window glass to move upward.

Pressing on the depressed area of the window regulator control switch causes the window to move downward.
