Rear Park Assist Buzzer - Vehicles equipped with the park assist system include a rear park assist buzzer (also known as the rear ParkTronic
System/PTS buzzer) which is secured within the driver side seat riser. It is concealed beneath the driver side front seat cushion on vehicles that are
so equipped.

Rear Park Assist Display - Vehicles equipped with the park assist system have a rear park assist display unit (also known as the rear ParkTronic
System/PTS warning element) integrated into each of the two outside rear view mirrors mounted just forward of the opening for each front door
glass. These displays are located near the lower edge of the upper mirror glass, but the outer surface of the mirror glass prevents the display from
being clearly visible unless the display is illuminated.

Trailer Tow Connector - Vehicles equipped with the park assist system and an optional trailer towing package feature a trailer tow connector
with an additional micro-switch that allows the park assist module to sense when a trailer wire harness has been connected in order to
automatically disable the rear park assist system while towing a trailer.
Hard wired circuitry connects the various park assist system components to each other through the electrical system of the vehicle. These hard wired
circuits are integral to several wire harnesses, which are routed throughout the vehicle and retained by many different methods. These circuits may be
connected to each other and to the vehicle electrical system through the use of a combination of soldered splices, splice block connectors, and many
different types of wire harness terminal connectors and insulators. Refer to the appropriate wiring information. The wiring information includes wiring
diagrams, proper wire and connector repair procedures, further details on wire harness routing and retention, as well as pin-out and location views for the
various wire harness connectors, splices and grounds.
The park assist system components cannot be adjusted or repaired. If any of the park assist system components is damaged or ineffective, that component
must be replaced.
