Crankshaft Main Bearing Seal: Service and Repair
1. Remove transaxle as outlined under, Automatic Transmissions/Transaxles. Refer to Powertrain Management.
2. On models with manual transaxle, remove pressure plate and clutch disc.
3. On all models, mark flywheel to engine position, then remove flywheel.
4. Remove seal retainer, then remove seal from retainer.
5. Reverse procedure to install, ensuring to install new seal.
