9. Remove two bolts from bulkhead grommet, then pull shift select cable out of bulkhead from engine compartment side of bulkhead.

10. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:

a. Tighten bulkhead grommet bolts to specification.
b. After connecting shift select cable to transaxle retaining bracket, tighten adjustment nut "A by hand until it contacts shift select cable joint, Fig.

9.

c. Using an open end wrench, tighten adjustment nut "B until it is jammed against manual shift select cable joint.
d. Apply lithium grease to shift select cable clevis pin.
