Distributor Electrical Connectors

Distributor Mounting Bolts

DISTRIBUTOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. Negative (-) battery cable.
2. Plastic lock retainers at distributor cap from secondary (spark plug) wire(s).
3. Secondary (spark plug) wire(s) from distributor cap.
4. Three bolts and distributor cap from distributor housing.
5. Distributor electrical connector(s).

Mark the position of the distributor housing on the engine.

Mark the rotor position on the distributor housing.

6. Two bolts and distributor from cylinder head.
7. O-ring from distributor housing.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

1. New O-ring to distributor housing.
