Vacuum Pump: Testing and Inspection
Vacuum Pump

1.

Connect a hand held vacuum pump, J23738-A, or equivalent, to actuator side of vacuum pump.

2.

Connect positive battery terminal to terminal 1 of vacuum pump.

3.

Connect negative battery lead to terminal 2.

4.

Ensure vacuum of 7.87 inches Hg or above.

5.

If results are not as indicated, replace vacuum pump.
