ALL CHEVROLET DEALERS
General Motors has determined that certain 1989-90 Chevrolet GEO Prizm vehicles equipped with a stereo radio/cassette player may have been
produced with an incorrectly oriented capacitor. Increased battery drainage will occur over time along with loss of radio display and selection button
function.
To correct this condition, it will be necessary to remove the radio/cassette player and inspect for a plant code and replace/repair those found to come
from the suspect population.
