Fluid - A/T: Service and Repair

1.
Raise and support vehicle, then position suitable drain pan under transaxle oil pan.
2.
Remove transaxle drain plug and allow fluid to drain, then re-install drain plug and torque to 13 ft. lbs.
3.
Add 2.4 qts. of Dexron Type II transmission fluid to transaxle through the filler tube.
4.
Start engine and move selector lever through all selector lever positions, then return to Park.
5.
With engine idling, check fluid level and add fluid as necessary.
