Wheel Bearing: Service and Repair
Removal/Installation
REAR HUB AND/OR BEARINGS

1.
Raise and support vehicle.
2.
Support suspension using a suitable jack. Place jack under suspension supports, not the suspension arms.
3.
Lower vehicle slightly so weight rests on jack.
4.
Remove tire and wheel assembly.
5.
On except GSi models, remove brake drum assembly.
6.
On GSi models, remove rear disc brake assembly.
7.
On all models, remove axle hub and rear suspension knuckle mounting bolts, Fig. 2.
8.
Reverse procedure to install, using a new O-ring seal when installing.
