Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

Coolant Fans - System Check

Troubleshooting Hints

NOTE: Perform before beginning System Diagnosis

1. Check GAUGE Fuse with a fuse tester (with A/C).
2. Check A/C Fuse with a fuse tester (with A/C).
3. Check the CDS Fusible Link with a fuse tester (with A/C).
4. Check that the Audio Alarm Module is securely mounted in Junction Block 1 (with A/C).
5. Make sure that the Heater Relay is securely mounted in Junction Block 2 (with A/C).
6. Make sure that the A/C MG Relay, A/C FAN NO.2 and A.C FAN NO.3 Relays are all securely mounted in the A/C Fuse and Relay Box (with

A/C).

7. Check that G204 is clean and tight (with A/C).
8. Check ECU-IG Fuse with a fuse tester.
9. Check the Fan Fusible Link with a fuse tester.

10. Check that the ENGINE MAIN Relay and the FAN NO.1 Relay are securely mounted in the Fuse and Relay Box.
11. Check that G102 is clean and tight.
12. Before component replacement, check for poor connections at related component and in-line harness connector terminal connections.
