Crankshaft Main Bearing Seal: Service and Repair

1.

Remove transaxle and flywheel assembly.

2.

Remove rear end plate.

3.

Remove rear main oil seal retainer.

4.

Carefully knock out oil seal from retainer.

5.

Replace old oil seal with a new one, then apply a suitable lubricant.

6.

Assemble retainer, rear end plate onto engine, then insert and securely tighten attaching bolts.

7.

Assemble flywheel assembly to engine, then install transaxle.
