Suspension Spring ( Coil / Leaf ): Service and Repair
Removal/Installation
1.
Raise and support vehicle. Place jack stand under suspension support, not suspension arms.
2.
Remove rear wheels, brake lines from brake hoses and backing plate.
3.
Remove brake clip from brake line, then brake hose from hose bracket.
4.
Remove ABS wire harness attaching bolt, if equipped.
5.
Remove stabilizer bar link attaching nut from strut assembly.
6.
Remove strut assembly mounting bolts and nuts from rear suspension knuckle.
7.
Remove strut top mounting nuts, then strut assembly from vehicle.
8.
Reverse procedure to install.
